This is a part of the automatic thread trimming mechanism. In the official JUKI parts list it appears for DDL, DLD and DLN series machines. It replaces the earlier JUKI part number 11111606.

After the last stitch the trimmer cuts the threads (on a lockstitch machine, the needle thread and the bobbin thread) and clears the thread ends so that sewing can start cleanly again. Hooks, knives, wipers and their drives have to work in step, and wear in one of them affects the whole cycle. The wiper moves the cut needle thread end out of the way after trimming.

Details

JUKI part number: 22957005

Part name in the JUKI catalog: Wiper

Type: Thread Trimmer Parts

Replaces the earlier part number 11111606

Listed in 13 model groups of the official JUKI parts list

Fits these JUKI machines

Part 22957005 is used on these JUKI machines: DDL-8500-7; DDL-8700-7; DDL-9000B/X73199; DDL-5570N/DDL-5580N Series; DLD-5430N/DLD-5430N-7; DLN-5410N-7/DLN-5410NH-7/DLN-5410NJ-7; DDL-5571N/DDL-5581N; DDL-5550N-7 Series; DDL-9000A; DDL-9000B; DDL-8700A-7; DDL-9000; DLN-5410NDD-7.

The list follows the official JUKI WebPartsList.
