These are the smart devices that JUKI offers for the LU-2800-7 and PLC-2700-7 series: skip stitch detector, bobbin thread remaining detector, digital tension and cover sensor unit.

Digital tension lets the needle thread tension be set numerically. JUKI says that the thread tension is changed with a stepping motor, which gives consistent tension control, and that the tension cannot be changed without the DT control box, so the operator cannot change it by personal preference.

Details

JUKI part number: 40153924

Device: Digital Tension Assembly

For: JUKI LU-2860-7 and PLC-2760-7

Fits these JUKI machines

JUKI's parts catalog lists part 40153924 for: LU-2860-7 and PLC-2760-7.

The model names are written the way JUKI writes them.

Before you install it

Switch the machine off, unplug it and wait at least five minutes before opening any control box.
