It is one of the parts that decide where the oil goes and what stays out of it. The machine named for it in the Pegasus list is the W1500N.

The oil system has two jobs: to deliver clean oil to the moving parts and to keep oil away from the fabric. A blocked filter, a worn guard or a cracked tank breaks one of those two jobs.

Details

Pegasus part number: 209408A00009

Part name: Filter

Type: Oil System & Filters

Listed by Pegasus for: W1500N

Pegasus parts catalogues that list this part: W1500P

When to replace it

The material has gone hard, brittle or swollen

Oil leaks, or oil reaching the fabric

A cracked, dented or deformed part

Wipe away old oil and sludge around the seat before fitting, tighten any cap or clamp evenly, and check the oil flow as the manual for your machine describes.

Choosing the right part

Oil system parts are specific to the machine and to their place in the oil circuit, so check the name and the number against the old part.
