Footwear Factory Optimization — Done✔️
We’d like to share with you the results of a successful production optimization case.
The client approached Prizzi with the goal of optimizing a footwear factory. After a thorough analysis of the company's needs and capabilities, we proposed the following solutions.
Juki PLC-2710S-7
Post-bed machines with automatic functions for heavy materials.
- The extended distance from the machine arm to the needle enhances workability.
- The walking-foot and presser-foot alternating vertical movement mechanism ensures consistent stitches.
- The upper and lower feed ratio is fully adjustable.
- Features an advanced thread trimming mechanism.
- Double tension is included as a standard feature.
Juki AMS-210EN-HL
Computer-controlled machines for pattern stitching.
- The large liquid crystal touch panel, designed for ease of use, significantly enhances editing efficiency.
- With a memory storage capacity of up to 500,000 stitches and 999 patterns (up to 50,000 stitches per pattern), the machine provides extensive pattern options.
- The encoder-controlled X-Y drive stepping motor allows for real-time monitoring of the feed position during sewing.
- Active tension control enables precise adjustments to the needle thread tension during sewing.
- The machine features a programmable intermediate presser and offers two different types of feeding frames.
Custom-made molds were created for each shoe model and size.
Result
Production volume in the upper shoe assembly stage increased threefold!
The client can now hire non-specialized operators, as the machines are easy to operate and intuitive.
Further automation of the factory opens up significant opportunities for growth and expansion, and we are excited to assist in this process!
