Innovative Belt Feed Mechanism
The machine features an advanced belt feed mechanism with JUKI's unique right-and-left independent drive system for the top feed belt. This allows for separate adjustments of the right and left feed amounts, preventing the material from slipping and ensuring consistent seam allowances when sewing sleeves.
The mechanism for alternately moving the belt feed and intermediate presser up and down eliminates tucks at the sleeve cap and irregular puckering. Additionally, the belt feed minimizes scratches on the material.
Solving Conventional Sleeve-Attaching Machine Issues
The introduction of active tension allows for the separate setting of suitable thread tensions for different portions of the sleeve. This prevents inadequate tension where shirring is large and excessive tension where shirring is small. Specified tension settings can be stored in memory on a pattern-by-pattern basis and easily reproduced.
Enhanced Operability with Color Panel, IP-420C
The machine comes with a touch-sensitive operation panel featuring a color LCD, allowing for easy input of sewing data such as shirring amount, needle thread tension, and stitch pitch. It includes a USB connector and CompactFlash™ as standard, enabling the storage and transmission of sewing data via various media (floppy disk, SmartMedia, CompactFlash, and SD card).
This facilitates the use of the same sewing data across different machines within a plant or among subcontract plants. The operating screen displays a graphic of the armhole, allowing operators to easily confirm the portion to be sewn and enter or edit data.
Flexible Operation Mode Selection
The machine's operation mode can be switched between manual, semi-auto, and full-auto according to the user's preference and ease of use, enhancing flexibility and efficiency in various sewing operations.
