Stitch and Bartack Adjustments
The MOL 123 offers versatile sewing options for belt loops, allowing the number of stitches to be switched between 28, 36, and 42 stitches. The bartacking size can be easily adjusted through the operating panel. Additionally, users can create custom sewing patterns using JUKI's PGM-20 programming software, designed for computer-controlled sewing machines.
Cutting Method Flexibility
This model enhances flexibility in cutting methods, with the cross-cutting device now capable of handling loop widths up to 20mm. Both cross-cutting and straight-cutting devices can efficiently manage this width, providing greater versatility in belt loop applications.
Enhanced Speed and Efficiency
With a new machine head specifically developed for belt-loop attaching, the MOL 123 achieves a maximum sewing speed of 2,500 rpm. The direct-drive system improves start-up performance and shortens sewing time. The belt-loop feeding device now includes a halfway standby capability for subsequent belt-loops, reducing the machine time to 1.2 seconds per belt-loop (with 28 stitches).
Consistent Belt Loop Supply
The MOL 123 features an improved belt-loop supply mechanism that combines a conventional gear-roller feeding system with a new drawing mechanism on the clamp device. This dual mechanism ensures consistent feeding of curled or creased belt-loops. A sensor on the clamp device detects the presence or absence of belt-loops, automatically repeating the clamping action if a faulty feed is detected, thereby reducing machine downtime.
Efficient Splice Disposal
The machine efficiently disposes of splices without delays in cycle time. It detects each splice in the belt-loops and ensures the next belt-loop is ready before sewing begins. This feature allows for smooth, uninterrupted sewing operations, with the potentiometer detecting changes in material thickness and perfectly disposing of splices. Adjustments for material thickness changes can be easily programmed through the machine's teaching function.
Electric Sliding Mechanism
An electric sliding mechanism is installed in the front hook, allowing for easy bobbin replacement and maintenance. This mechanism enables fine positioning of the front hook in increments of 0.01mm through the operating panel, simplifying the adjustment of the needle gauge and eliminating the need for hook timing adjustments.
Automatic Belt Loop Supply Adjustment
The belt-loop feeding position is automatically adjusted to the belt-loop width, allowing for easy changes without mechanical adjustments. The widthwise position of the belt-loop can be offset through simple manipulation of the operating panel when feeding the belt-loop under the presser foot.
Adjustable Stand
The MOL 123 comes with an adjustable stand, allowing the working table height to be easily adjusted to match the operator's height. This feature enables the operator to work in a comfortable posture, reducing physical strain and fatigue.
