How It Works
High-Quality Joining of Materials
The AE-200 sewing machine excels at joining materials with different curves and textures, as well as different types of fabrics. It simplifies the complex process of aligning and sewing materials, enabling even inexperienced operators to achieve high-quality, consistent results.
Unique Techniques for Precise Control
By dividing the sewing length into ten sections, the AE-200 allows for precise control of shirring and stretching. This feature ensures perfect joining of materials, even those with complicated curves. The manipulator, a JUKI-exclusive device, ensures accurate material joining through active pressure and roller rotation.
Active Pressure (AP) Technology
AP technology is a unique JUKI function that separately controls the pressures of the upper and lower manipulators according to the material and sewing specifications. This function can be customized in ten different sections for one pattern.
AE-200 Pin Tuck Type
The machine can produce beautiful, equally-spaced pin tucks with the optional pin tuck device (40088621).
Versatile Applications
The AE-200 is suitable for various processes, including sewing the center back of men’s and ladies’ jackets and joining the sides of ladies’ skirts.
User-Friendly Operation Panel
The large color LCD touch panel (IP-420) makes it easy to input and program sewing data. The increased size of the LCD facilitates intuitive selection of stitch shapes and settings. Additionally, the panel allows for quick confirmation of manipulator pressure and differential feed amounts, reducing the time needed for pattern changes. External storage media, such as USB drives and Compact Flash cards, can be connected to the touch panel for easy data transfer between machines.
Substantial Productivity Increase
The AE-200AN requires only that the operator place materials on the machine. It automatically and continuously sews the materials while aligning their ends, making it possible for inexperienced operators to perform tasks that typically require skilled labor. This capability contributes significantly to deskilling.

- Air-Blow Table: Assists in feeding materials, improving workability.
- Bobbin Winder: Positioned on top of the main motor cover for easy bobbin thread changes.
- Handy Switch: A start/pause switch located near the material placement area for responsive operation.
- TBD System: The timing belt drive system ensures no loss of driving force when starting sewing.
- Sub Table: Can be fixed to the front for long materials or to the rear for small articles, enhancing material handling and workability.
