Lockstitch seam formation and vertical edge trimming run simultaneously — the 6.4 mm needle-to-knife distance delivers the seam allowance suitable for medium to medium-heavy woven constructions. The separate trim step is gone from the process — the piece leaves the station with a sewn seam and a clean-cut edge, without additional handling.

Knife That Cuts Any Material — No Restriction on Fabric Type
The cloth trimming knife handles any material regardless of thickness or toughness — heavy-weight, elastic, and textured materials included. The maximum cutting thickness is 4 mm.

Adjustable Knife Position — Precise Trim Margin Control
The cloth trimming knife can be moved up to 5.5 mm toward the operator from the needle center, giving precise control over the trimmed edge.

One-Touch Utility Knife Lever — Rust-Resistant and Clean in Operation
The knife lever is plated to prevent rust, eliminating the risk of material soiling during operation. Lever operation is single-touch, keeping the knife engagement easy and predictable.

Precise Thread Trimming for Simplified Handling 
The thread trimming mechanism is designed for a wide range of thread thicknesses, including thick thread. The trimmer cuts cleanly regardless of the thread the process requires.

Automatic Reverse Feed — Uniform Seam Lockoff on Every Piece
Start and end backtacking executes automatically, delivering uniform stitch count and reinforcement without dependency on operator timing or technique. Seam lockoff is the same across every station and every shift.

Thread Wiper — Clean Start of the Following Seam
Once the trim completes, the wiper draws the needle thread end clear of the presser foot area before the next piece is placed. The thread does not catch, does not migrate to the fabric face, and does not require the operator to clear it manually.

Stitch Quality Stable at Up to 4,500 Stitches per Minute
The machine maintains stable stitch quality through high-speed operation and responds flexibly to a range of applications — general fabrics and medium-heavy weight constructions included.

Automatic Lubrication — Steady Performance Throughout the Run

AK85 Automatic Foot Lifter — Faster Transition Between Seams
